Manufacturing Process - Industrial Methods

Project Aim: To manufacture an element - ‘Flange’, No. ATK1.3-02.00.03 of Quantity of 1,000,000 units.

TASK

The project is about using the theoretical knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering in real life

application. The project must be approached in the following way:

1. Analysis of element drawing.

2. Analysis of the technological properties of the element. Proposals for changes in design.

3. Selection of material, blank and analysis of supply and blank production possibilities.

4. Design of technological process (technological route).

5. Selection of technological machines, equipment, and tools. Selection of processing regimes.

Analysis of production precision.

6. Calculation and analysis of production time.

7. Calculation and analysis of production price.

8. Design of technological equipment & equipment layout (if needed).

9. Conclusions and list of references.
